Arsenal is interested in acquiring England player Marc Guehi, and Mikel Arteta is considering a player swap transfer, while Liverpool is also in the running.

Arsenal is interested in securing the services of England’s talented player Marc Guehi and is considering a player swap deal to make the transfer happen.

Liverpool is also reportedly in the race to sign Guehi, who impressed during Euro 2024.

Arsenal are prepared to include Eddie Nketiah in a potential deal to secure Marc Guehi.

The Gunners, along with other Premier League clubs, have shown interest in Guehi following his impressive performances for England during Euro 2024.

Reports suggest that Liverpool and Manchester United have also been monitoring the player closely during his time in Germany.

Mikel Arteta is keen on strengthening his defensive line in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Guehi, 24, identified as a primary target.

Despite Crystal Palace’s £70 million asking price, Arsenal is exploring ways to negotiate a more favorable deal.

On the other hand, Nketiah is considered surplus to requirements at the Emirates, and Arsenal is open to including him in a potential player-plus-cash offer.

Palace has shown interest in the 25-year-old forward for some time and is interested in securing his services at Selhurst Park.

Nketiah, who hails from Lewisham, still has connections in South London. Nevertheless, Palace officials are taking their time in deliberating on Guehi’s future.

The talented defender joined Crystal Palace from Chelsea in 2021, with a significant sell-on clause included in the deal.

Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, is reportedly interested in signing Guehi to strengthen the team’s defense following Joel Matip’s departure.

In addition to pursuing Guehi, Liverpool is also reportedly close to finalizing a deal for Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo, who is rumored to be on the verge of a move to Anfield.

Sponichi, a Japanese media outlet, has stated that the deal is nearing its completion after the player’s representatives visited England.

It is anticipated that Liverpool will pay around £55million for Kubo, as he is being considered as the potential successor to Mohamed Salah.
