Arsenal is focusing on a 21-year-old striker from the Bundesliga as their foremost target, expressing confidence in signing him in January..
Arsenal has identified 21-year-old Bundesliga striker Benjamin Sesko as a key target, expressing confidence in securing his transfer.
The Gunners have identified a 21-year-old Bundesliga striker as their key target and are assured of their ability to bring him on board.
Reports indicate that the Premier League club views the RB Leipzig forward as their primary objective for the summer transfer window of 2025.
Arsenal had previously shown interest in Sesko during the recent summer transfer period, but a deal did not come to fruition.
Now, the North London team is optimistic about acquiring the talented striker from the Bundesliga side in the upcoming transfer window.
Benjamin Sesko has quickly made a name for himself as one of the standout young talents in the Bundesliga since his move to RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg last year.
His reputation was already on the rise during his time in Austria, but it has significantly increased over the past year.
So far, the 21-year-old has recorded 19 goals and four assists in 45 matches across all competitions for RB Leipzig.
He has made a strong start to the 2024/25 season, netting one goal and providing two assists in three games in both the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal.
Sesko’s impressive development at RB Leipzig has attracted the attention of several top clubs in Europe, including Arsenal.
The Gunners had previously attempted to sign the Slovenian international during the summer transfer window, but the move did not materialize.
Arsenal’s interest in Benjamin Sesko is logical, given their need for a reliable striker, especially considering Gabriel Jesus’s inconsistent scoring record.
Additionally, with Eddie Nketiah’s departure, the only striker options available to Mikel Arteta are Jesus and Kai Havertz.
Sesko has emerged as a promising target for Arsenal, as the North London club has recognized him as their primary objective for the summer transfer window of 2025.
Furthermore, the Premier League giants are optimistic about acquiring the 21-year-old striker from RB Leipzig in the upcoming year.
However, the exact fee that the Bundesliga team will seek for the Slovenian international remains uncertain for the 2025 summer transfer window.
Given his significance to the club, it is possible that Sesko may not be available for transfer in the next year.
