Arsenal intensifies negotiations to acquire £64m World Cup-winning striker from PSG, with Manchester United also showing interest.

Arsenal is ramping up conversations to bring in the £64 million World Cup-winning striker from PSG, as Manchester United also looks to make a move.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are considering making moves in the January transfer window to bolster their squads.

Under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal has demonstrated strong defensive capabilities, yet there remains a consensus in north London that additional firepower is needed in attack.

Conversely, Manchester United, under Ruben Amorim, is at a different juncture in its development, but adding one or two new players in January could significantly aid in meeting the club’s short-term goals this season.

According to TBR Football, several Premier League teams have escalated discussions regarding the potential signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are exploring the possibility of a loan deal for Kolo Muani.

The striker was presented to English clubs by intermediaries in October, and interest has intensified recently.

Kolo Muani had hoped to regain his place in Luis Enrique’s squad; however, the return of Goncalo Ramos to full fitness has relegated him further down the lineup in France.

Consequently, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all shown interest in acquiring the French forward in January to strengthen their attacking lineups.

PSG is open to allowing a loan move with an option to purchase later on.

Importantly for the Premier League clubs, Kolo Muani is reportedly keen on a move to England.

Manchester City also believes that Randal Kolo Muani could alleviate some of Pep Guardiola’s current challenges.

Arsenal is actively seeking additional options in the attacking third, making the prospect of securing Kolo Muani on loan in January appealing.

Likewise, Manchester City views the £64m striker as a valuable addition to their current roster.

United believe they can enhance Amorim’s options, and the prospect of loaning Kolo Muani is attractive to the club due to the challenges they are facing with PSR.

In January, United has made a significant portion of their squad available, but transferring players is proving to be quite difficult at this time.

Sources from Old Trafford emphasize that any interest in Kolo Muani is not connected to the recent situations involving Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.

Both players were omitted from the squad for the match against City on Sunday due to concerns regarding their training habits.
