Arsenal Injury Report: Updates on White, Tomiyasu, Calafiori, and Bukayo Saka Before the Nottingham Forest Fixture.

As the international break unfolds, Arsenal is managing several key injuries in London, preparing for the demanding festive schedule ahead.

Entering the final international break of 2024, the Gunners are dealing with a series of injuries following a challenging stretch of performances.

Several important players are currently undergoing treatment this November, as the team aims to regain full strength in the coming weeks before the busy holiday season kicks off.

On Wednesday, Ben White underwent a minor procedure to address ongoing joint issues.

The timeline for White’s recovery remains uncertain, but there is optimism that he will return to full fitness soon.

Riccardo Calafiori is also sidelined, with Mikel Arteta providing little information regarding his condition.

Attention is particularly focused on Calafiori, as the team hopes he can recover from his knee injury in time for the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest next Saturday. Arteta is also unsure about the return of defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Tomiyasu has faced a series of injury setbacks, and while Arteta expressed confidence in a quick recovery, he acknowledged that it might be late November or early December before Tomiyasu is back training.

Concerns were raised regarding Martin Odegaard’s absence from the Norway squad during this break, but it appears to be a precautionary measure as he works towards regaining full fitness.

Declan Rice presents a more significant concern, with uncertainty surrounding the severity of his injury. He will not participate in the England squad this break, and his return to action for Arsenal remains unclear.

Bukayo Saka’s fitness is also shrouded in mystery.

After leaving the match against Chelsea with what seemed to be a muscular issue, he joins Rice in remaining with the Gunners instead of traveling to St George’s Park.

Kieran Tierney is making progress towards a comeback after an extended absence.

Although he acknowledges that his tenure at Arsenal might be nearing its conclusion, he could still play a significant role in the future if these injury issues continue.
