Arsenal’s squad has received a triple fitness boost ahead of their match against Manchester City. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes are available, while there is hope for Gabriel Martinelli’s recovery from injury. This news will surely provide Mikel Arteta with some much-needed relief as he prepares his team for the challenging encounter.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes, along with Gabriel Martinelli who is aiming for a swift recovery from injury, provide a positive outlook as Manchester City receives a double fitness boost.

Arsenal are optimistic that Bukayo Saka will recover in time to take on Man City, while Gabriel Magalhaes also shows signs of progress in his injury rehabilitation.

Arsenal are looking forward to having Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes back in action for their important game against Manchester City. Saka’s muscle tightness led to his early departure from the England camp, but he is now receiving treatment from Arsenal’s medical team to get back to training.

Arsenal is optimistic about having both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes fully recovered for the crucial title clash against Manchester City next weekend. Saka had to return from St George’s Park early due to muscle tightness, missing out on England’s training sessions. The 22-year-old is now working closely with Arsenal’s medical team in hopes of returning to training next week.

On the other hand, Gabriel is dealing with an inflamed achilles tendon, leading to his absence from Brazil’s squad. He was replaced by Juventus’ Gleison Bremer after being excused by manager Dorival Junior. Despite Brazil using Arsenal’s Sobha Realty Training Centre as a base, Gabriel is taking the necessary rest to address the issue.

There is a possibility that Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey might participate in the match at the Etihad, as they both played in a 4-0 defeat against Queens Park Rangers in a closed-door friendly.

Tomiyasu played for 45 minutes, while Partey featured for an hour after being allowed to stay with Arsenal by Ghana during the international break.

However, Gabriel Martinelli is facing a race against time to prove his fitness. The speedy winger missed the victories over Brentford and Porto due to a foot injury sustained in the demolition of Sheffield United.

Although he has undergone some light training, he was seen using crutches at the Emirates Stadium during Arsenal’s Champions League win against Porto on penalties. On the other hand, Jurrien Timber is still on the path to recovery despite returning to training after undergoing ACL surgery earlier this season.

Gabriel is expected to be ready to take on Manchester City alongside Arsenal.

Manchester City may also have several key first-team players well-rested for the crucial match that will define their season.

Kevin De Bruyne was absent from the Belgium squad due to a groin injury after missing the FA Cup victory over Newcastle. Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias were released by Roberto Martinez following Portugal’s 5-2 win against Sweden, which means they will not participate in the upcoming match against Slovenia.

Martinez stated, “We have eight players coming in for the second game. It’s crucial to focus on different strategies. Bernardo, Ruben Dias, Joao Palhinha, Nelson Semedo, Toti Gomes, Rafael Leão, Bruno Fernandes, and Goncalo Ramos will be departing.”

City are optimistic that Ederson will recover in time for the upcoming match, following a thigh injury sustained during the 1-1 draw against Liverpool. Additionally, Erling Haaland has successfully overcome a minor injury concern after leaving Norway’s training session earlier this week.
