Arsenal are contemplating a surprising move by considering a £60m bid for an England player who participated in Euro 2024.

Mikel Arteta and Edu are evaluating the possibility of making an offer for Crystal Palace and England Euro 2024 attacker Eberechi Eze.

The Gunners have been keeping a close eye on the £68 million-rated playmaker from Crystal Palace and are confident that a bid of £60m could convince the South London club to part ways with their talented English star.

Despite Arsenal’s interest, they now face competition from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to secure the services of the Palace standout.

Eze’s impressive performances for Crystal Palace last season earned him a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024, where he made three substitute appearances in Germany.

The 26-year-old made a significant contribution to the club’s resurgence after Oliver Glasner took over in February, despite suffering a few injuries last season.

Eze scored an impressive 11 goals in 27 Premier League matches, with six of those goals coming in 11 games under Glasner.

Additionally, Arsenal is in the final stages of securing a £42m deal for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafior, and there are rumors linking Gunners forward Gabriel Jesus to a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
