Alphonso Davies has expressed his stance regarding a potential transfer to Liverpool.

Alphonso Davies has indicated his thoughts on the prospect of joining Liverpool.

Recent transfer discussions have linked Davies to Liverpool, but he has made it clear that his current focus is on his career at Bayern Munich.

He feels appreciated at his present club and is not contemplating any moves at this time.

As speculation arose about a possible transfer in 2025, when his contract with Bayern is set to expire, the 24-year-old Canadian international, who boasts five Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy among his achievements, remains a compelling prospect.

The situation at Liverpool has intensified following injuries to Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson’s red card during a match against Fulham, which left the team in a challenging position.

Robertson, a standout left-back for the club, has faced scrutiny after several costly errors, leading to discussions about the need for a change in that position.

Should Liverpool pursue Davies, they would face competition from Real Madrid and Manchester United, both of whom are also interested in acquiring him as a free agent at the end of the season.

However, Davies has reiterated his commitment to Bayern in a recent interview, stating, “My primary focus is on maintaining my health and contributing to my current team.

I’m not preoccupied with future possibilities. I feel valued by my team and the entire Bayern community, and that motivates me every day.”

Anfield has been identified as the ‘most likely’ destination among Premier League clubs for the player, following discussions that emerged last week.

Starting January 1, as a foreign club, they will have the opportunity to pursue Davies for a potential transfer once his contract with Bayern concludes.

Additionally, in the mix for Arne Slot’s next acquisition are Fulham’s Antonee Robinson, who impressed during the match against the Reds on Saturday, and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, who was brought to the Cherries by the sporting director.
