Milan is set to make a strong push to acquire a Roma striker following the failed Fullkrug deal.

Milan set to pursue Roma striker Tammy Abraham following Niclas Fullkrug transfer setback.

After failing to secure Niclas Fullkrug’s transfer to West Ham United, Milan is now shifting their focus to Roma’s Tammy Abraham.

Coach Paulo Fonseca has reportedly prioritized the former Chelsea striker as the key addition to their attacking lineup.

Despite signing Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid, Milan is still in search of another center-forward following Olivier Giroud’s departure.

The Serie A club has been exploring various options throughout the summer transfer window.

With Fullkrug off the table and Romelu Lukaku heading to Napoli, Milan is now aiming to bring in Abraham.

The English striker is surplus to requirements at Roma after the agreement between Roma and Girona for Artem Dovbyk.

The Ukrainian player is set to join Daniele De Rossi’s team for a reported transfer fee of €30.5 million, along with an additional €5.5 million in performance-related bonuses.

The arrival of Dovbky is expected to hasten Abraham’s exit, with AC Milan poised to make a move. They may propose Luka Jovic as part of the deal to make it more appealing and reduce costs.

Alternatively, a loan swap between Jovic and Abraham could be a viable option.

This would be particularly advantageous for Milan, which is operating under financial constraints and has already invested €18 million in Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlovic from RB Salzburg.

AC Milan appears to be Abraham’s preferred choice, especially with reports suggesting that Premier League side Everton is interested in the Roma forward, who has fallen out of favor.
