Thomas Frank has shared an eye-catching remark about Liverpool that fans will surely embrace immediately after Brentford’s success.

After Brentford’s triumph, Thomas Frank has expressed a striking opinion about Liverpool that supporters will undoubtedly find appealing.

Liverpool secured a 2-0 win over Brentford, extending their lead over Arsenal to seven points.

After his team’s disappointing loss, Brentford manager Thomas Frank expressed that Liverpool is ‘a level above Arsenal.’

The Reds clinched the victory late in the match at the Gtec Community Stadium, with Darwin Nunez scoring two goals in stoppage time, solidifying Liverpool’s position at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Arsenal’s upcoming match against Aston Villa.

Liverpool dominated much of the game, restricting Brentford to very few clear chances. This victory marked Liverpool’s first league win of the year, breaking a streak of draws against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, and bringing them closer to the championship title.

Despite his team’s efforts, Frank had no objections to losing to what he described as the ‘best team in the world’ and expressed confidence in Liverpool’s chances of winning the league.

He stated via BBC Sport: “We recently faced [Manchester] City and Arsenal, and now Liverpool in quick succession. In my opinion, they are a level above both teams. They are a complete side.

Their work ethic and ability to track back are impressive indicators. They excel in all areas of the pitch and pose a significant threat going forward. They are truly exceptional.

They are the best team in the Premier League and the world, and they are strong favorites to claim the title.”

Liverpool registered a total of 37 shots during the match. However, Brentford also posed a threat, and the outcome might have been different had Mikel Damsgaard converted a close-range opportunity in the fifth minute.

Frank acknowledged that while the Bees struggled with their finishing, he commended Liverpool’s central defensive pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.

He concluded: “I believe we played a commendable game against the best team in the world at this moment.

We executed many aspects well and defended effectively, although we did concede some opportunities.”

We may have been missing that crucial final touch. We created several promising chances that did not materialize due to the final pass or touch. Their center-backs performed exceptionally well.

“The deflection could have gone anywhere else since he blocked the cross, but it fell perfectly for Trent Alexander-Arnold to set up Nunez.

It’s disappointing, but I am satisfied with our performance. We aim to win from the very first minute, regardless of the opponent.

“We anticipated they would control possession more, but we were confident in our ability to secure the victory.”
