Fabrizio Romano has provided an intriguing update regarding Liverpool’s pursuit of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Fabrizio Romano has offered a compelling update on the situation surrounding Liverpool’s interest in Kvaratskhelia.
An interesting development on Liverpool’s interest in Kvaratskhelia has been shared by Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea have received a boost in their efforts to sign the Napoli winger, as reported by Romano in his transfer newsletter for GIVEMESPORT.
However, they still trail behind Paris Saint-Germain in the competition for his signature.
Kvaratskhelia has emerged as one of the premier wingers globally, revitalizing Napoli with his impressive performances on the left flank.
His exceptional dribbling skills and ability to deliver results make him a challenging opponent for defenders.
While Premier League clubs are interested, Romano emphasized that PSG currently leads the race for the player.
Romano noted that Kvaratskhelia’s situation “could change” regarding a potential move to the Premier League.
He mentioned that there has been significant interest from clubs like United, Liverpool, and Chelsea in recent weeks.
Nevertheless, he clarified that, at this moment, PSG is the only club actively negotiating with Napoli, having made an important contract offer to the player.
Romano stated, “There is interest from the Premier League, but currently, the only club in contact with Napoli is Paris Saint-Germain.”
Should an opportunity arise, Kvaratskhelia might be inclined to consider a move to the Premier League, especially with Liverpool being prominently linked to him at the start of the transfer window.
The Georgian winger could potentially make his way to England’s top tier in the near future.
Kvaratskhelia made a significant impact during the 2022/23 season, scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists in only 43 appearances for Gli Azzurri, contributing to their Serie A title victory after a 30-year hiatus.
With an additional 11 goals and nine assists in the following season, he has gained enough experience to attract the attention of some of the most prestigious clubs worldwide.
