Arsenal has been bolstered by the return of two players who missed training on Tuesday, as they were observed with the squad preparing for the upcoming game against Monaco.

The Gunners have been given a lift, with two individuals who did not participate in Tuesday’s training spotted with the team in preparation for the Monaco fixture.

Arsenal received a significant boost as Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey, who were absent from Tuesday’s training session, have been seen with the squad ahead of their Champions League match against AS Monaco this evening, as reported by former Sky Sports producer Connor Humm.

Humm, known for his timely updates on Arsenal and followed by notable figures such as Dharmesh Sheth, Ryan Taylor, and Fabrizio Romano, shared this news earlier today.

Both Timber and Partey were missing from the open training at London Colney on Tuesday, leading to speculation about potential injuries, although no official explanation has been provided.

Timber has been confirmed to be with the Arsenal squad for the Champions League clash against AS Monaco tonight. ✅

Thomas Partey is also present.

It seems that their absence from training may not be injury-related, and they could play against the Ligue 1 team at the Emirates Stadium.

Additionally, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Oleksandr Zinchenko were also absent from the training session, while Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are sidelined due to injuries.

Given the current injury situation at the North London club, Kieran Tierney may have an opportunity to play tonight, and the return of both Timber and Partey is a significant advantage.

The Gunners aim to secure a top-eight finish in the new Champions League format, and a victory this evening would enhance their chances of qualifying automatically for the round of 16.

So far, they have achieved three wins, one draw, and one loss in their first five matches of the league phase, placing them tenth in the standings.

Arsenal will be optimistic about their chances against a Monaco team that has suffered two defeats in their last three outings, and securing wins against Dinamo Zagreb and Girona should be within reach.

They possess the capability to contend for the Champions League title this season; however, they will require a significant amount of luck regarding injuries moving forward.

Missing key players in matches against top competitors could severely impact their chances.
