Florian Wirtz has reportedly made a decision regarding his next club amidst interest from Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

The Bayer Leverkusen star has been linked with several top teams following his impressive performances. Wirtz began his youth career at SV Grun-Weiss Brauweiler and FC Koln before joining Leverkusen in 2020.

He quickly made an impact, debuting for the senior team in May 2020 against Werder Bremen after showcasing his talent with the U17 squad.

Over his career, the 21-year-old has scored 47 goals in 162 matches across all competitions and has represented Germany 25 times, netting four goals.

Last season, Wirtz was instrumental in Leverkusen’s Bundesliga triumph under coach Xabi Alonso, further elevating his profile in European football.

Consequently, he has attracted attention from several elite clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Real Madrid.

According to reports from Sky Sports Germany, Wirtz has already made up his mind about his next destination.

It is suggested that he favors a transfer to Bayern Munich next summer, opting to remain in Germany.

The report also indicates that Bayer Leverkusen would require an offer exceeding €100 million to consider parting with Wirtz, with the club aiming for a transfer fee of €150 million.

Earlier this year, Wirtz addressed speculation regarding his future in relation to Alonso’s potential moves to Bayern and Liverpool, stating, “It’s extremely important to me that I have such a good connection with (Alonso).

“But of course we decide about our future independently of each other. I don’t tie my path to his, no.”

I am uncertain about the coach’s decisions. As for my future, my current priority is the national team, and I have numerous plans ahead with Bayer Leverkusen afterward.

It has been proposed that if Bayern is unsuccessful in acquiring Wirtz, they may consider Xavi Simons from Paris Saint Germain as a potential alternative.

The future of the Dutch player remains ambiguous, as he is presently on loan at RB Leipzig from the Paris club.

With talents like Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, and Harry Kane already in the squad, Vincent Kompany has the opportunity to develop one of the most formidable attacking lineups in world football in the coming years.
