In anticipation of the January transfer window, Sunderland is commencing its preparations, guided by Kristjaan Speakman’s outlined strategy.

Speakman indicated that the club is already focusing on potential enhancements to the squad for the winter transfer period.

He noted that while the substantial transfer of Jack Clarke to Ipswich Town does not automatically lead to increased spending, the club remains committed to being proactive in the market, reflecting the management’s readiness to invest.
