Arsenal is aiming to secure the services of an electrifying forward, prompting Edu to consider selling two players valued at £60 million.

Journalist reports that Arsenal’s sporting director, Edu Gaspar, is planning to sell two players worth £60 million in order to fund the acquisition of an “exciting” forward.

This signals a potential overhaul at the Emirates this summer.

Manager Mikel Arteta is said to be actively seeking new attacking options for the team. Alongside this pursuit, there are speculations about several squad members being offloaded.

One potential target for Arsenal is Johan Bakayoko, a winger from PSV Eindhoven, who has been linked to the club this week.

Additionally, the Gunners are rumored to be persistently searching for a new striker, following their unsuccessful attempt to secure RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

In order to secure funds for potential new forward additions, there have been several reports suggesting that Arsenal may consider selling players such as Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Olekasandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson, and Kieran Tierney this summer.

However, a new rumor has emerged indicating that Arsenal could potentially address two needs at once by pursuing a move for Crystal Palace’s talented player, Eberechi Eze.

According to trusted journalist Simon Phillips, Arsenal is reportedly planning to offload Smith Rowe and Nelson in order to make space for the acquisition of Eze.

The Gunners are said to be keen on securing the services of Palace’s standout player, who has a release clause of approximately £60 million.

Interestingly, Nelson is valued at about £30 million, while Smith Rowe also comes with a price tag of £30 million.

The success of this plan may hinge on whether other clubs are willing to meet these valuations for the two players. However, the combined £60 million from their potential transfers could go towards funding the move for Eze.

According to pundit Rio Ferdinand in an interview with TNT Sports, the journey of this player has been truly remarkable.

Despite facing disappointments in his academy life and being released from clubs, he managed to find a new path for himself. Now, he has reached a level where he represents England on the international stage.

Ferdinand believes that this player has the potential to play for one of the top teams, without intending any disrespect towards his current club, Palace.

He possesses individual brilliance and has the ability to keep his head up while dribbling, allowing him to involve his teammates in the game.

Other players who have faced him on the field describe him as an elusive and unpredictable player, both in terms of his ball-carrying skills and his physical strength.

Despite his relatively small stature, this player possesses great strength and power. However, Ferdinand emphasizes that it is crucial for him to consistently perform on the pitch and be available for selection.

In the meantime, Jamie O’Hara, a fellow pundit, encouraged Tottenham, Arsenal’s rivals from north London, to consider acquiring Eze.

O’Hara described the former QPR star as a remarkable and thrilling player. He further stated that both Eze and Gallagher would be ideal additions to the team.

O’Hara emphasized that these players possess exceptional skills, understand the demands of the game, and would greatly contribute to a club that is progressing.

He particularly highlighted Tottenham’s participation in European football next season as an enticing prospect for potential signings.
