Report: Arsenal eyeing move for Real Madrid forward.

Arsenal rumored to be plotting a transfer move for a talented attacker from Real Madrid.

According to reports, Arsenal is making preparations to secure the services of Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz in the upcoming summer transfer window.

After spending three seasons on loan at AC Milan, Diaz returned to Bernabeu last summer and played a crucial role as a squad player for Los Blancos throughout the 2023-24 season.

The 24-year-old showcased his talent by scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in 44 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions. In La Liga alone, he netted eight goals and contributed seven assists in 31 outings.

Diaz also made an impact in the Champions League, contributing two goals and one assist as Carlo Ancelotti’s team triumphed in the tournament earlier this month.

Brahim’s contract at Bernabeu still has three years remaining, but he may face more challenges in securing regular playing time next season with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer.

There are reports suggesting that Arsenal is highly interested in signing Brahim this summer. Mikel Arteta, the head coach of the Gunners, is reportedly pushing for the Spaniard’s acquisition in the upcoming transfer market.

According to the report, Arteta is willing to provide Brahim with the opportunity to become a key player for a club that aims to compete for major trophies next season.

During his time at Milan, Brahim scored 18 goals in 126 appearances across all competitions. However, he was brought back to Madrid last summer as a replacement for Marco Asensio.

During his tenure at Bernabeu, the assailant has clinched two La Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups, and the prestigious Champions League.

However, he now finds himself at a crossroads, contemplating a significant choice regarding his future.

Diaz’s performance during his tenure at Manchester City is worth noting. He made his debut for the club in September 2016 and managed to secure 15 appearances for the first team, scoring two goals.

This experience in English football was not his first, as he had previously joined City in 2015 from Malaga at the age of 16.

Despite his promising start, Diaz eventually moved to Real Madrid in January 2019, departing six months before his contract with the Premier League champions was set to expire.

In the early days of his career, the forward struggled to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium, but he displayed glimpses of his potential in Manchester.

The 2023-24 season marked a significant improvement in his performance and goal contributions, making it his most successful season yet.

Should Arsenal secure his signing, he would undoubtedly bring excitement to the team.
