Report: Arsenal is prepared to make a move for one of the most promising and dynamic young full-backs in the world.
Arsenal set to pursue highly promising young full-back.
In their quest to surpass their achievements from the previous season, Arsenal is determined to reinforce their squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Gunners showcased their competitiveness in the race for the Premier League title, pushing it to the very last day of the 2023/24 campaign, which is a testament to the excellent work carried out by their manager, Mikel Arteta.
This summer, Arsenal is eager to further solidify their foundations as they strive to secure their first title in more than two decades.
Recent reports indicate that the Gunners have their sights set on a 21-year-old talent who is widely regarded as one of the most thrilling young full-backs in the world.
The player in question is Quilindschy Hartman, a left-back currently playing for Feyenoord in the Dutch league. Hartman has been consistently impressing with his performances and is considered a rising star in Dutch football.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal is set to join the competition for Quilindschy Hartman, a player who has caught the attention of Gunners scouts. The 21-year-old is highly regarded by Premier League clubs and is seen as someone who has the potential to excel in English football.
Unfortunately, Hartman is currently recovering from a severe knee injury that he sustained in March, which has ruled him out of Euro 2024 and will extend his rehabilitation into the next season.
The report suggests that Arsenal will closely monitor his comeback, as they are interested in bolstering their defense in the long term. Hartman’s football journey began with VVGZ and Excelsior before he joined the Feyenoord academy in 2010.
Hartman has accumulated 71 appearances for Feyenoord so far, contributing with two goals and 11 assists across various competitions.
According to Serbian Football Scout, Hartman is praised for his defensive prowess and creative skills on the field.
The scout also mentioned that Quilindschy Hartman, aged 22 and playing as a left-back, is currently one of the most promising young fullbacks in the game.
Hartman received high praise from former Feyenoord defender Jan Everse in 2023, who described him as a skilled left back with attacking abilities, a good kick, a solid cross, and decent speed.
In the same year, Wesley Sneijder expressed his admiration for Hartman’s performance, labeling it as a fantastic move. According to Sneijder, Hartman was the standout player of the match.
Sneijder also confidently predicted that Hartman would make a return to the Dutch national team in the coming months without a doubt.
