Ramsdale, Thomas Partey, Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus, and four other players could potentially leave Arsenal in the match against Everton, as Mikel Arteta looks to introduce new talents to the team.

Ramsdale and Smith Rowe are among the six standout players who may bid farewell to Arsenal in their upcoming match against Everton.

As the 2023/24 season draws to a close, Arsenal finds themselves in a crucial battle for the Premier League title against Manchester City. The match against Everton at Emirates Stadium on Sunday is a must-win for Arsenal, who also need a favor from West Ham as they face Manchester City at Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City’s recent victory over Tottenham has shifted the title race back into their control, with them now sitting two points above Arsenal at 88 points. While Arsenal hopes for a historic day, it could also mark the final opportunity for several players to represent the club.

In the previous season, Granit Xhaka bid farewell to Arsenal with a memorable performance, scoring an impressive brace. This year, up to six players could potentially follow in his footsteps and leave the club.

Mohamed Elneny has already confirmed his departure through an emotional video message shared on social media, and Cedric Soares, a player from the previous era, is expected to join him.

Due to the intense competition for the title, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has identified the core group of players he can rely on, with 15 individuals consistently featuring. Throughout the entire season, new signings Declan Rice and Kai Havertz have proven themselves trustworthy, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Leandro Trossard have recently become indispensable to Arteta.

Consequently, several fringe players may feel the need to explore opportunities elsewhere. Aaron Ramsdale, who has been a hot topic lately, will undoubtedly contemplate his future this summer after losing his position in the starting lineup to David Raya.

Speculation about a potential move to Newcastle surfaced on Friday, and although Ramsdale himself dismissed these rumors, it does not completely rule out a potential departure.

Another player who has played a significantly reduced role compared to last season is Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian international was one of Arteta’s notable signings last summer, but due to injury problems and recent struggles, he has only started five Premier League matches this year.

Thomas Partey, similar to Zinchenko, has faced a season marred by injuries. It became evident as early as March this year that he would be leaving the Gunners after a four-year stint in north London. Despite this, Arteta has relied on the Ghanaian midfielder in the final weeks of the season, with Partey starting the last four league games and playing the full 90 minutes in three of them.

It may be time for Emile Smith Rowe to part ways with his childhood club after another challenging season. While his injury problems have been less frequent compared to the previous campaign, it seems that Arteta no longer has the same level of trust in the Hale End graduate as before.

A few years ago, he, alongside Bukayo Saka, symbolized the new Arsenal under Arteta. However, his body has failed him at crucial times, and now a peripheral role seems to be his limit at Arsenal. Smith Rowe has been linked with an exit before, and despite Arteta’s previous firm stance against his departure, turning 24 this summer might signal the need for a change of scenery.

Gabriel Jesus, Reiss Nelson, and Jorginho have all been associated with potential departures, but the recent contract extensions for the latter two players make it improbable for them to leave. On the other hand, Jesus has recently fallen out of Arteta’s plans, and his persistent injury issues could potentially lead to a summer departure being considered.
