Arteta’s dreams are coming true as Arsenal have received the green light to secure the signings of two exceptional players worth €120m. Meanwhile, Liverpool has been offered a significant discount on a top midfielder.

The Gunners are currently in negotiations for an impressive double deal, which includes the acquisition of a talented winger and a versatile defender.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur has been quoted a hefty €50m for their primary target in the upcoming summer transfer window.

In an exciting development, Arsenal’s pursuit of Xavi Simons is gaining momentum. The club has made contact with the player and has received encouraging signals that he is keen on joining them.

Simons, a gifted playmaker from the Netherlands, has had a remarkable season on loan at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. He was brought in as a replacement for Christopher Nkunku, who had departed for Chelsea.

The versatile 21-year-old, capable of playing as a No 10 or on either wing, has impressively netted nine goals and provided 15 assists this season.

While Leipzig is eager to secure his services permanently, PSG’s valuation of €60m (£51.5m) exceeds the financial capabilities of the Bundesliga side.

Consequently, there have been rumors linking him to Arsenal, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich as potential destinations.

However, Barcelona’s interest lies solely in a loan deal, and Bayern Munich is currently prioritizing other signings, leaving Arsenal in a strong position to secure the signing of Simons.

According to Sport, Arsenal’s chances have further improved as Simons has made it clear that he has no intention of returning to his parent club next season.

Consequently, all involved parties are eager to finalize an agreement swiftly, with Arsenal optimistic about the possibility of an early arrival in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Arsenal is not only finalizing the Simons deal, but they are also making significant progress in securing Ousmane Diomande from Sporting Lisbon.

Diomande, a talented young central defender, has caught the attention of top clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle with his impressive performances.

Despite signing him for a mere €7.5m from FC Midtjylland in January 2023, Arsenal is now prepared to sell him for a substantial profit.

Although there is a staggering €80m (£68.6m) release clause in his contract, Arsenal is currently engaged in initial negotiations for his transfer.

There is a growing belief that a deal can be reached for an initial fee of €50m, with additional payments potentially increasing the total to €60m (£51.5m).
