Arsenal’s unbelievable £198m triple deal leaves Liverpool stunned and Manchester United disappointed…

Reports suggest that Arsenal is planning a major transfer coup this summer, with a potential £198m deal in the works.

The Gunners are rumored to be targeting Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, as well as a Premier League striker and a player who has been on Liverpool’s radar.

Last summer, Arsenal made significant investments in their squad, spending over £200million on players such as Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and David Raya. These acquisitions have elevated the team to a new level and enabled them to once again compete for the Premier League title.

Manager Mikel Arteta, who previously served as an assistant manager at Manchester City, will be eager to outshine his former club and lead Arsenal to their long-awaited Premier League triumph.

However, regardless of whether Arsenal concludes the season in a triumphant manner, Arteta will urge sporting director Edu Gaspar to acquire additional top-tier players in order to propel the Gunners into the later stages of the Champions League.

According to sensational reports originating from Spain, Arsenal may achieve what Manchester United failed to do by securing the services of De Jong in England.

For quite some time, Manchester United has been associated with De Jong, as Erik ten Hag believes that the talented central midfielder is the ideal player to bridge the gap between their defense and attack at Old Trafford.

Nevertheless, De Jong has thus far declined Manchester United’s advances, prompting Arsenal to now attempt to persuade him to depart from Barcelona.

Arteta is searching for a top-quality defensive midfielder to anchor Arsenal’s midfield, allowing Rice and Odegaard to push forward. De Jong is a top candidate, but his price tag is high.

Arsenal’s transfer plans include a potential triple signing. Barcelona is asking for €80m for De Jong, a hefty sum that would transform Arsenal’s midfield.

If De Jong joins Arsenal, it could mean the end of Partey’s time at the club.

Another target for Arsenal is Pacho, who has caught the eye of Liverpool as a potential center-back option.

Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, has been impressed by Pacho’s performances and has recommended him to the club’s decision-makers.

However, the 22-year-old has caught the attention of Arsenal scouts as well, and this could potentially lead to a bid from the North London club.

In a positive development for Arsenal, Pacho’s price tag appears to be decreasing. Initially, Frankfurt demanded £60m for the Ecuadorian player, but they are now open to considering offers in the range of €50m (£43m).

In addition to De Jong and Pacho, Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak might also be on his way to the Emirates.

Arsenal has been closely monitoring Isak’s progress since his time at Real Sociedad. The Swedish international has now established himself as one of the most lethal strikers in the Premier League, prompting Arsenal to solidify their interest in him.

While Newcastle would be disappointed to see Isak depart, they may be forced to sell one of their top players this summer to address Profit and Sustainability concerns. Isak’s move to Arsenal in a €100m (£86m) deal could potentially solve this issue, while also providing Arsenal with the high-quality number 9 they desire.

To finance such strategic decisions, Arsenal would have to transfer a number of players, including Partey, Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, Aaron Ramsdale, and Eddie Nketiah.
