Pundit believes a crucial Brighton player could join Arsenal.

According to a pundit, there is a strong possibility that a player from Brighton, who is considered to be of utmost importance, could be recruited by Arsenal. This assessment is derived from what I could see.

Arsenal must address several areas during the upcoming transfer window. While much attention has been given to the potential signings of a striker or midfielder, the need for a new goalkeeper has been somewhat overlooked.

After spending a season as a backup, Aaron Ramsdale is rumored to depart Arsenal this summer, leaving a vacancy for a new second-choice goalkeeper.

During a recent episode of the Handbrake Off Podcast, Adrian Clarke discussed potential candidates for this role, suggesting that Brighton’s Jason Steele could be a viable option for the Gunners.

Jason Steele is a potential target for Arsenal

Clarke highlighted the importance of Brighton’s goalkeeper, describing him as a valuable asset.

“I have suggested the possibility of someone like Steele from Brighton, who is skilled in playing out from the back and would be happy to serve as a substitute goalkeeper here while also meeting Premier League standards. Steele, or another former Arsenal player, could fit the bill,” Clarke explained.

Jason Steele could be a great fit for Arsenal

Jason Steele may not be a flashy signing for Arsenal, but he would bring a lot of value to the team.

The Brighton goalkeeper is adept at playing out from the back and is also a reliable shot-stopper.

In today’s game, goalkeepers are increasingly judged on their ability with the ball at their feet, an area where Steele excels.

Nonetheless, extracting Steele from Brighton might pose a challenge. The Englishman has been a key player for the Seagulls, having started in 16 league games this season.

Despite Bart Verbruggen’s rise as Brighton’s top goalkeeper, Steele remains highly regarded at the Amex.

Considering the need for a goalkeeper who can adeptly play from the back and serve as a reliable backup to David Raya, Arsenal would greatly benefit from acquiring someone like Steele or a similar talent.
