Arsenal is swiftly making moves in the transfer market, with reports suggesting that they are prepared to make a substantial €45 million offer for a highly sought-after 22-year-old player.

This potential signing has also caught the attention of Liverpool, who have expressed their interest in acquiring the talented youngster.

It appears that Arsenal’s Technical Director, Edu, will be leading the negotiations, showcasing the club’s determination to secure this promising talent.

Arsenal set to make €45 million bid for 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt defender

As per a Bolavip report, Arsenal has been monitoring the 22-year-old player closely and is preparing to submit a substantial offer to secure his services. The Gunners are looking to make a €45 million bid for the player, but Eintracht Frankfurt seems reluctant to let him go for that amount.

Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg recently revealed that Arsenal is among the clubs that have shown interest in signing Willian Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German club is reportedly demanding a fee exceeding €60 million for the talented defender. In addition to Arsenal, Liverpool is also in the race to sign Pacho as both clubs are eager to strengthen their defensive options.

At Arsenal, his addition to the defensive unit will bring more depth, and there is potential for him to form a partnership with William Saliba. On the other hand, Liverpool sees him as the perfect replacement for Joel Matip, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.

The player himself has mentioned that the Bundesliga club would require a fee ranging from €50m to €60m in order to let go of the defender during the summer transfer window.

It appears that Arsenal is highly interested in signing the 22-year-old, as reported by DAZN and relayed by Bolvaip.

The Ecuadorian international is among the players that Arsenal has identified as potential targets, with their director, Edu, likely leading the pursuit.

Mikel Arteta’s team has already scheduled a meeting with the German club to present an offer for the center-back. It is believed that the Gunners’ initial formal offer will be in the region of €45m.

The report indicates that Eintracht Frankfurt is unlikely to accept the north London club’s offer as they would require more than €60m for the South American player. It is unclear whether the Gunners will come back with an enhanced bid.

Liverpool has also reached out, but they have not submitted a formal offer yet, unlike Arsenal, who are actively trying to finalize the player’s transfer.

Pacho was signed by Eintracht Frankfurt from Royal Antwerp last summer and was given a contract until 2028. He provided an assist in 39 games during his first season in Germany.

The Bundesliga defender may find the opportunity to join the Premier League very appealing, with hopes that top clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool will reach an agreement with his current team. While €60 million is a high price for the young player, Arsenal is aiming to negotiate a more reasonable deal. Both clubs have the financial means to make the transfer happen, so it will be interesting to see where the Ecuadorian ends up.

Pacho, being a young talent, has the potential to prove his worth in the coming years.

Having been a standout player for Ira Frankfurt this season with 39 impressive appearances, the defender possesses the skills to excel in English football and could become a valuable asset for either Arsenal or Liverpool.
