Possible line-up for Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – Liverpool’s squad will receive a significant boost with the return of key players Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota

Liverpool will be boosted by the return of key players Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota for their match against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.

Klopp provided updates on their fitness levels, expressing optimism about their availability for the upcoming game.

During his pre-match press conference, Klopp mentioned that Jota had recovered well from his previous injury and had benefited from his 20-minute appearance in the last game. Alexander-Arnold, on the other hand, was unable to play in the previous match but has since had two training sessions.

“I believe Diogo had a good 20 minutes, which was beneficial for him. Now, we will assess his condition moving forward,” Klopp mentioned in his press conference. He also added, “Trent wasn’t ready to play against Atalanta, but he has had a couple of training sessions since then.

Diogo is slightly ahead in terms of fitness, allowing him to potentially play more minutes. Alisson is also making progress in his recovery. We will evaluate their status accordingly.”

Liverpool have been lacking the clinical finishing of Jota and the creative spark of Alexander-Arnold in recent matches. While Kelleher has performed admirably in Alisson’s absence, the Brazilian goalkeeper brings a higher level of stability to the team.

In terms of injuries, Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip are the only players currently unavailable, and it is unlikely that they will feature again this season. Alisson is expected to start in goal, supported by a defensive line consisting of Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, and Robertson.

Both Alexander-Arnold and Robertson will not only fulfill their defensive duties but also contribute to the team’s attacking play by creating goal-scoring opportunities for their teammates. In midfield, Endo will provide defensive cover, while Mac Allister and Szoboszlai will bring creativity to the side.

Jota is expected to lead the line for Liverpool against Crystal Palace, as Nunez has not performed up to expectations in recent matches. Jota’s clinical presence will be crucial in this game. Salah will start on the right flank, with Diaz on the left.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Endo, Szoboszlai; Salah, Jota, Diaz.
