Arsenal receive a significant injury boost as Gabriel Jesus is set to return for the match against Porto in the Champions League round of 16.

The Brazilian star has been out of action for the past three games due to a knee injury, but is now ready to make his comeback. Prior to his injury, he put on an impressive performance with a goal and an assist against Nottingham Forest.

The Brazilian forward has been sidelined for the Gunners in the last three matches due to a knee injury. However, he showcased an outstanding performance earlier with a goal and an assist against Nottingham Forest.

Manager Mikel Arteta has been tight-lipped about the player’s condition lately, but according to Record (page 12), he is close to full recovery and is expected to join the team for the upcoming match.

In addition to the forward, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also set to travel to Portugal for the highly anticipated game at the Estadio do Dragao.

Arteta faces a difficult decision regarding his team selection. The Gunners have been in exceptional form since the winter break, securing five wins and scoring an impressive 21 goals. Notable victories include a 5-0 triumph over Crystal Palace, a 5-0 win against Burnley, and a dominant 6-0 rout of West Ham United.

Furthermore, the club showcased their dominance by defeating Liverpool 3-1 and Nottingham Forest 2-1. Despite the absence of Jesus, Trossard has stepped up and delivered goals in his last three appearances.

Trossard has been given the opportunity to start in the previous two matches against West Ham and Burnley. However, the burning question remains: will Arteta choose to drop Trossard to the bench in order to reinstate Jesus in the number nine position?

Kiwior has shown proficiency in defense, however, his offensive abilities are not widely recognized. Zinchenko excels in the inverted role and is considered the top choice, although he has occasionally displayed defensive vulnerabilities.

Tomiyasu offers a good balance between attacking and defensive capabilities. The Japanese player may be preferred over the other two if he is completely recovered from a recent minor injury.
