Liverpool XI vs Arsenal : Confirmed lineup, team news and injury latest updates for Premier League match against Arsenal…

Liverpool’s clash with Arsenal in the Premier League today is set to be an intense battle for the title. However, there is some concern surrounding the fitness of striker Darwin Nunez.

Despite his impressive performance in the previous match against Chelsea, where he hit the woodwork four times and provided an assist, Nunez left the stadium wearing a protective boot. On a positive note, Alexis MacAllister has been given the green light and is fit to play.

Nunez’s participation in the trip has been cast into doubt due to his ongoing training, while Alexis Mac Allister has been declared fit after being substituted in the match against the Blues.

Jurgen Klopp addressed reporters on Friday, expressing uncertainty about Darwin’s availability. He explained that Darwin had suffered a painful injury to his foot when someone accidentally stepped on it after 20 minutes into the game.

Darwin chose not to remove his boot during the match, as he was aware of the discomfort. Consequently, he left the stadium wearing a different type of boot, not meant for football.

Fortunately, no bones were broken, as confirmed by the clear x-ray results. However, his foot is swollen, and it remains to be seen whether he can wear a football boot again or not.

In addition, Klopp was questioned about Conor Bradley’s impressive performance and the subsequent competition for places, as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are set to return from their injuries.

He stated that it is not a challenge, but rather the first instance this season where we have an abundance of players available for various positions. However, this is not a problem at all.

Projected Liverpool starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Jota, Gakpo, Diaz

Uncertainties: Nunez

Injured players: Salah, Matip, Bajcetic, Thiago, Tsimikas
