Arsenal is currently in the process of finalizing a triple Deadline Day deal, with Lino Sousa, their defender, set to join Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old is anticipated to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with Villa before being loaned out to Plymouth Argyle, a Championship side. Additionally, Charles Sagoe Jr has attracted interest from Swansea, while Bradley Ibrahim has recently made a move to Hertha Berlin.

Sousa was among several academy players who may depart from the Gunners, either permanently or on loan, before the deadline.

Swansea has expressed interest in loaning winger Charles Sagoe Jr. The 19-year-old recently made his debut for the Gunners’ first team, coming off the bench against Brentford in the Carabao Cup back in September.

Sagoe will find a familiar face in south Wales, as Charlie Patino had already made the same move earlier in the transfer window.

In the meantime, midfielder Bradley Ibrahim, who led Arsenal to the FA Youth Cup Final last season as captain, has officially completed his transfer to Hertha Berlin today. The deal secures his services until 2027.

Ibrahim, an England youth international, was also included on the bench for Arsenal’s first team during the 3-1 Premier League home victory against Burnley in November.

There are two academy players, Amario Cozier-Duberry and Reuell Walters, who Arsenal believes should not be leaving the club today. Similar to Lino Sousa, they have six months remaining on their contracts, but Arsenal is keen on retaining them.

The strategy is to engage in contract negotiations with both players after the transfer window, with the aim of convincing them to stay. Walters is content with waiting until May before making a decision on his future.
