Arsenal has received a significant fitness boost as Thomas Partey, the Ghanaian international, has returned to training following his injury.

This development comes as Mikel Arteta’s side prepares for their upcoming Premier League match against Nottingham Forest. It is encouraging to see Partey back in Arsenal training after successfully recovering from his recent injury setback.

The positive impact of Partey’s return for Arsenal.

Arsenal will receive a significant boost with the return of Ghana international, Thomas Partey. After undergoing surgery for a thigh problem sustained in October, Partey has been sidelined for nearly three months.

This unfortunate setback also caused him to miss the Africa Cup of Nations. However, his imminent return is excellent news for Arsenal, who have struggled to have him on the field this season.

Due to a series of muscle injuries, the 30-year-old has only managed to play for 15 minutes since August. Nonetheless, during that brief appearance, he played a crucial role in the build-up to Gabriel Martinelli’s winning goal against Manchester City.

Partey’s arrival at Arsenal brings a dual advantage as he has showcased his versatility in both midfield and defense throughout the season. His presence in the defensive line, particularly as a right back, could alleviate the pressure on Ben White.

This is especially crucial considering Jurrien Timber is still recovering from injury and Takehiro Tomiyasu is currently away on international duty at the Asian Cup.

While it remains uncertain whether Partey will be fit in time for Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, there is optimism from the player himself that he will be ready for the game.

According to football.london, the Ghanaian midfielder participated in training on Wednesday and has been fully involved with the rest of the squad.

In other areas, there is optimism regarding Declan Rice’s fitness after he was substituted during the 5-0 victory against Crystal Palace last Saturday. Gabriel Magalhaes is currently under evaluation after also being substituted in that match, while Fabio Vieira is edging closer to making a comeback after being sidelined for three months due to a groin issue.
